From off-road racing to rolling on the streets, our wheels share the same cutting-edge technology whether you are racing Dakar or doing the school run.

Bead Grip® Technology, exclusive to Method Race Wheels, integrates Bead Grip® grooves on both the inner and outer bead seat to engage the tyre bead for a stronger hold under extreme side load and lower air pressures. The wheel’s 'safety hump' also gets a more aggressive profile which further stabilises the tyre bead in the seat. Not only is this technology popular on the trails, but it's been implemented on the course by off-road racers. For racers, they save the additional weight a beadlock wheel adds without sacrificing the tyre security. Top racers in the sport like Toby Price, Luke McMillin, Nasser Al-Attiyah, the Polaris Factory Race Team, and others have won major off-road races like the Baja 1000, Dakar Rally, Finke Desert Race, and more running Method Race Wheels with Bead Grip® Technology. The performance of this technology in these extreme conditions has earned Bead Grip® Technology the moniker "Race Proven".

Since it's inception in 1977, the Dakar Rally has tested the endurance of both man and machine across regions of Europe, Africa, South America, and the Middle East. It is easily one of the most remote and challenging off-road races in the world consisting of roughly two weeks, multi-stage format, and thousands of miles through varied and treacherous terrain. Overcoming these challenges and making it to the podium earn our Bead Grip® wheels and the athletes who run them the moniker, Dakar Proven™.

Having a reputation of being one of the most difficult off road courses in one of the most remote places in the world, the Finke is a two day off road race in the Northern Territory of Australia from Alice Springs to Finke and back. See what it takes to be Finke Proven™.

Racers go against typical outback terrain of red dirt, sand, native plants and desert oak trees. The race gained the reputation as the richest Off-Road Race in Australia. With an increase in popularity the Finke added the introduction of cars and off-road buggies in 1988. For many years the buggies couldn’t keep up with the bikes, until 1999 when a buggy took home the win. The next following years would be a rivalry between cars and bikes to see who could take home the title of “Kings of the Desert.”

The Mint 400 is as much a legendary event as it is a merciless off road race testing every drivers skill and putting them to the test to see if they have what it takes to be Mint Proven™. With the back drop of Las Vegas, the week-long festivities include a parade of vehicles down the Vegas strip and a street festival on historic downtown Fremont street.  Never looking back Jergensen in his Method 103 Beadlock equipped Brenthel Unlimited truck would cross the line with his first Mint 400 victory!
